A new version of Mozilla’s Firefox for Android 16 Beta application is now available for download, offering support for all devices that pack at least an 800MHz application processor and a minimum of 512MB of RAM.
The beta flavor of the browser comes with a new Reader Mode, while also offering users the possibility to share tabs with their desktops or with other mobile devices using sync.
The app also comes with a fix for Text Selection for static web pages, as well as with better JavaScript responsiveness, the release notes available in the Google Play Store read.
“With Firefox Beta, you get to test the latest performance, customization and security enhancements before they make it to our next version,” Mozilla notes. However, you should keep in mind that this is a beta software, bound to pack various issues inside.
